Join QWAG for a free, 2 hour (11am to 1pm) Sunday spring walk, with SE London explorer, Paul Browning aka @RunningPast.
First, we will follow the course of Lower Kid Brook from the River Quaggy in central Lewisham to Blackheath, discovering the history and geography of the stream’s valley along the way. We’ll then follow the Mid Kid Brook from Casterbridge Road to the remains of a medieval moat – the Looking Glass of Lee – behind the former Swan pub, now Rambles Bar, before ending with a drink at the Dacre Arms.
Meet 11am beside the River Quaggy outside St Stephen’s Church, near Lewisham Police Station.
