The 6th Great Quaggy Duck Race – 24th May 2020

The 6th Great Quaggy Duck Race, Manor Park, as part of the 21st Hither Green Festival.
The Quaggy ducks have been in training all year. The Kingfisher Trophy has been polished. Will the river run as fast as in 2018, or will it flow as slowly as it did in 2019? Find out for the 6th wading (running) of the Great Quaggy Duck Race, on the last day of the 2020 Hither Green Festival.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last Quaggy Ducks to finish the course.
Quaggy Ducks supplied or BYO (other creatures permitted subject to the stewards’ approval).
Registration on the day from 1pm (online registration will open in April 2020)
Race starts at 2pm
The race will lasts about 25-45 minutes depending on river flow and conditions
Prize giving about 3pm
£1 entry per Quaggy duck
Conditions of participation
1. Follow instructions given by event stewards
2. Stay out of the river
3. We film and photograph the event and if you do not wish to be on camera please make this known to the organisers.
