The Quaggy joins cast of award-winning film

The River Quaggy is featured in Lost Rivers, a film about the treatment and revival of our urban rivers.

We were filmed by the Canadian crew in Sutcliffe Park in 2011 – and then forgot about it.

Then in we heard that the film was in the can and about to be shown at the London International Documentary Festival and also the Green Film Festival.

Along with London’s Tyburn, the Quaggy made the cut and features alongside rivers in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Korea and Italy.

Lost Rivers has been doing the rounds of film festivals and also features Dave Webb of the Environment Agency. Dave helped spearhead the restoration and revival of our local urban rivers.
