Lewisham Gateway outline planning application has been approved.

The Lewisham Gateway outline planning application was approved at last night’s meeting of Lewisham Council’s Strategic Planning Committee by three votes to two. And with that approval the opportunity to properly restore the Ravensbourne and Quaggy in the Gateway area has gone for the forseeable future. Instead Lewisham seems destined to become just another ‘clone town’, indistinguishable from hundreds of others across the country.
