The 9th annual 3 Rivers Clean Up (3RCU) runs from 3 June to 24 June. For 3 weeks, people across Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham get into their local rivers to remove invasive non-native plant species – mainly Himalayan Balsam – and larger rubbish items. Himalayan Balsam tend to smother other plants and weaken the river banks. By removing balsam in June we can help stop it bursting its seed and using the rivers to spread more plants across the area.…Find out more »
