Wednesday 20 July 2016 7.45pm for 8pm start As the Museum of London Archeology’s Head of Community Archaeology, Nathalie leads the award-winning Thames Discovery Programme, which trains volunteers to record and monitor the dynamic archaeology of the inter-tidal zone.

3 Rivers Clean Up (3RCU)

3 Rivers Cleanup

The 9th annual 3 Rivers Clean Up (3RCU) runs from 3 June to 24 June. For 3 weeks, people across Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham get into their local rivers to remove invasive non-native plant species – mainly Himalayan Balsam – and larger rubbish items. Himalayan Balsam tend to smother other plants and weaken the river banks. By removing balsam in June we can help stop it bursting its seed and using the rivers to spread more plants across the area.…
